Green Program

Miniforms support a design culture that studies functionality, aesthetics and sustainable development. All this is part of the innovation that goes into developing our products and improving our lifestyles.

Preserving the local culture

Our manufacturing processes are carefully studied and upgraded on an on-going basis. It all starts amidst the landscapes where we developed, the Venetian lagoon, extending then into the rest of Italy.

We cannot ignore the importance of living in these areas, which is why we want to preserve them using internationally inspired business models enhanced by the local culture.

1/8

Wood

Our wood comes from areas of reforestation: in central Europe in the case of Ash and Oak, and in the Americas for Walnut. We also adopted MDF panels formaldehyde-free, in compliance with CARB12 regulation.

Marble

We use a marble called Palladio, an agglomerate that is obtained by working local excavations residues, starting up a circular process to eliminate the wastefulness and limit the damage to our mountains.

Plastic

Do we still use plastic? Yes, but recyclable. The polypropylene that we inject into our moulds is on its first use cycle, and can be used several times over.

PE

But we also have fun with polymers, derived from the reuse of post-consumer materials. How we use them? The waste-material is first sorted by type then melted at low temperatures: this process reduces its environmental impact as well as maintaining its characteristics unchanged, for a green, circular approach: not only in production, but also in reuse. Recycled and recyclable, yay!

Materiali

In these years we didn’t get bored: from blown glass to recycled polyethylene, in between we have reapplied entirely recyclable polyurethane padding, hand-worked terracotta, brought industrial concrete into the living room and plump padding outdoors, made the most classic Travertine contemporary... What if we stop here? Of course not!

Varnishing

We took a risk by choosing a 100% water-based paint, and the result was amazing: we got fresh and bright colors, derived from bio-renewable resins, for a cutting-edge and sustainable painting.

Fabrics

It’s not just about style: we prefer to work with textile partners who adopt sustainable practices and philosophies. In our collection you can find fabrics that prioritize indoor safety by reducing emissions and eliminating chemicals substances, others made from 100% recycled content, others still naturally natural and renewable.

Packaging

We use recycled paper for our packaging boxes with less than 1% foam materials used.
